
About Lisa Browning, Esq.
Lisa Browning, Esq. is a collaboratively trained divorce attorney and mediator with over twenty years of experience in family law and divorce. She is committed to helping clients navigate one of life's most challenging transitions with compassion, practical guidance, and experienced legal counsel.
Lisa has been practicing since 2005, focusing primarily on divorce, mediation, collaborative divorce, prenuptial agreements, and other family law matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law–Newark, where she also received a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Jessica R. Mayer, Family Part Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, who now serves on the New Jersey Appellate Division.
Lisa is actively involved in the legal community. She serves as an Early Settlement Panelist for Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren Counties and is dedicated to helping families resolve disputes outside of court whenever appropriate through mediation and collaborative law.
Currently, Lisa serves on the Board of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM) and as Chair of its Marketing Committee. She is also the Past President of the Hunterdon County Bar Association. Before opening Lisa Browning Law, she practiced with several New Jersey law firms representing clients in divorce, mediation, collaborative law, prenuptial agreements, and other family law matters.
In addition to her legal practice, Lisa serves as President of the Greenbrook Elementary School PTO Board. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University.
